Why is one pill not enough?

We know it’s not easy to take so many pills. One pill barely contains enough for the body’s need for calcium, let alone all the other vitamins and minerals. So, prenatals with only 1 pill generally have low amounts of the vitamins and minerals needed in large amounts, such as calcium, magnesium, choline, and DHA. Our system is designed to be the optimal nutrition based on the standard American diet. We are striving to reduce the number of pills but for now all pills are necessary to get the optimal nutrients the NHF recommends.
